I just saw YHWH Nailgun (also my new fav. band) live and if you get the chance I highly recommend it. Lives up to the hype, exceeded really high expectations. Left me awestruck. Haven’t been that riled up since seeing Black Eyes live like 25 years ago.
I was so excited I didn’t finish reading what you wrote—the drumming seems impossible and it was too far away to tell just how it was done but there were a lot of tiny toms! I was really caught off guard by the guitar setup, those are not guitar sounds. Essentially playing a wah pedal hooked up to a guitar.

I definitely remember the feeling of seeing Black Eyes 25 years ago! That is a good sign.
They are playing in NYC again next month, so I am going to go and stand as close to the front as I can manage (probably relatively far back)
Report back! Luckily I think you'll enjoy it no matter where you stand.
